Introduction
• Fallen Condition Focus: We become afraid and try to preserve our physical life rather than trust our Lord to preserve our soul through faith in Christ. We recoil from confessing Jesus as Lord before others and stand apart from the people of God.
• Sermon Proposition: Since the Lord will give grace to his witnessing church in the time of tribulation, we ought to prepare ourselves to bear witness to Jesus as Lord
• Purpose: To call us to confess Jesus as Lord and be a part of His witnessing church

I. The witnessing church prophesies that Jesus is Lord (11:1-6)

II. The witnessing church is persecuted by the world and the beast (11:7-10)

III. The witnessing church is preserved by God's grace (11:11-14)

So What?
1. We need to be convinced of our purpose
2. We need to be calm in the face of persecution
3. We need to be comforted by the promise of God's preservation through tribulation
