The Steadfast Love of the Lord

Introduction
• Fallen Condition Focus: We are liable to have a character shaped by transgression and the lack of the fear of the Lord
• Sermon Proposition: Since the steadfast love of the Lord is so great and precious, we ought to seek to be shaped by the Lord's steadfast love
• Purpose: To call us all to seek to be shaped by the Lord's steadfast love through praise and thanksgiving, trusting dependence upon him, and continued submission to his loving discipline

I. Since the steadfast love of the Lord is so great and precious, we ought to praise and thank the Lord (Psalm 36:5-6)

II. Since the steadfast love of the Lord is so great and precious, we ought to come to him in trusting dependence (Psalm 36:7-9)

III. Since the steadfast love of the Lord is so great and precious, we ought to pray to him to continue his steadfast love toward us (Psalm 36:10-12)
