Introduction

• Fallen Condition Focus: We are afraid to trust Jesus personally for our lives and those we love. We have heard about Jesus, his miracles and his glory, but we resist coming to him and fully believing in him because it means surrendering control, surrendering our pride, and surrendering our lives into his hands.
• Sermon Proposition: Since Jesus is the Savior of the World come to us, we ought to believe in him in our most desperate times.
