Introduction
Fallen Condition Focus: We may find ourselves at various times in our life oppressed and pursued by the enemy of our soul, the devil, because of our sin and foolishness, or because of our desire to be faithful to God.
Sermon Proposition: Since the Lord delivers us from the enemy of our soul through Jesus Christ, we ought to seek his mercy and grace for deliverance in Jesus Christ

I. Since the Lord delivers us from the enemy of our soul, let us seek him with humble prayer (Psalm 143:1-2)

II. Since the Lord delivers us from the enemy of our soul, let us seek him by meditating on his works (Ps. 143:5-6)

III. Since the Lord delivers us from the enemy of our soul, let us seek him by listening and learning from his Word (Ps. 143: 8-10)
