Introduction
• Fallen Condition Focus: We are not taking and feeding on the Word of God on our own and remain immature in faith. Since we are not feeding on the Word for our own spiritual growth, we do not have spiritual strength to remain steadfast in faith during times of trial and tribulation. We don't have God's Word ready to give to others to encourage and comfort them.
• Sermon Proposition: Since the Lord God sent his Son, the Word of God, to us with His message of salvation, we ought to feed on God's living Word every day of our lives
• Purpose: To call each of us to draw near to God daily to feed on his Word so that we might be strong in faith and have something to share with others.

I. Since the Lord God sent his Son, the Word of God, to us with God's message of salvation, we ought to take the Word of God (Rev. 10:8-11)

II. Since the Lord God sent his Son, the Word of God, to us with God's message of salvation, we ought to devour the Word of God (Rev. 10:9-10)
