Introduction
• Fallen Condition Focus: We may not recognize the idolatry of the world and its system of power and influence in our lives. We may be caught up in its way of thinking and follow its values. We may even choose to live according to the current world system and rebel from God.
• Sermon Proposition: Since the Lord God will judge the world system, the great prostitute and the beast, we ought to resist the world's power and influence in our lives

I. Since the Lord God will judge the world system, we ought to resist its influence and power over us (Rev. 17:1-6; cf. Rom. 12:1, 2; Gal. 6:14; 1 Jn. 2:15-17)

II. Since the Lord God will judge the world system, we ought to rest in God's sovereign power and control over it (Rev. 17:7-18; cf. 1 Jn. 5:4, 5; Psalm 46:10)

III. Since the Lord God will judge the world system, we ought to remain faithful to the Lamb (Rev. 17:14; cf. Gal. 6:9, 10; 1 Cor. 15:58; Rom. 12:19-21)
