Our Good Shepherd

Introduction
• Fallen Condition Focus: we can be led astray by robbers and thieves who want to destroy our lives and our faith in God
• Sermon Proposition: Since Jesus is the good shepherd, we ought to follow him rather than false shepherds
A. Jesus is the good shepherd because he is allowed to enter the fold through the door (Jn. 10:1-6)
B. Jesus is the good shepherd because he gives life to his sheep (Jn 10:7-10)
C. Jesus is the good shepherd because he lays down his life for the sake of his sheep (Jn. 10:11-16)
D. Jesus is the good shepherd because he acts in accordance with his Father's will (Jn. 10:17-18)
So What?
1. Do you have a living relationship with the Good Shepherd?
2. Are we looking out for one another?
3. Does Jesus have his rightful place of honor and authority in our lives?
4. Are we recognizing, praying, and loving Christ's one flock?
