Introduction
Fallen Condition Focus: As fallen human beings, we are led astray from fellowship with God and his kingdom by our pride, ambition, arrogance, and pursuit of human glory. Instead of serving as God's bondservants we have chosen to live as our own masters establishing our own kingdoms, spheres of influence and power.
Sermon Proposition: Since the Lord God has given such grace through Jesus Christ, we ought to humbly offer ourselves to be God's servants

I. A servant of the Lord presents herself to and waits upon the Lord (Lk. 1:38; Rom. 6:13; 12:1; Ps. 130:5, 6)

II. A servant of the Lord listens for the command of the Lord (Lk. 1:38; Is. 50:4)

III. A servant of the Lord obeys the command of the Lord (Lk. 1:38; Jn. 14:15, 21)
