Introduction
• Fallen Condition Focus: Although we may be walking with God, we are susceptible to the passions of the flesh which begin in our hearts as lustful intent. We may be led astray by these passions instead of by Christ and his purity.
• Sermon Proposition: Since Jesus our Lord teaches us to live according to the righteousness of God, we ought to repent from the sin of lust
• Purpose:

I. Since Jesus our Lord teaches us that our evil thoughts are sin and liable to judgment, we ought to guard our hearts and minds from lustful thoughts

II. Since Jesus our Lord teaches us to take drastic measures to prevent sin, we ought to take the sins of our hearts seriously by confessing them to God

III. Since Jesus our Lord teaches us to be faithful to one spouse, we ought to protect our hearts from desiring illicit relationships with others
