Introduction
• Fallen Condition Focus: We are bound and chained by sin and the power of the devil until Christ sets us free.
• Sermon Proposition: Since Jesus is the Son of the Most High God sent to deliver us from sin, death, and the devil, let us come to him for deliverance from every bondage.
• Purpose: To call us to come to Jesus and to allow him to subdue the power of the devil oppressing us.

I. When we come to Jesus, we meet and experience his power to subdue the evil that has bound us (5:1-13)

The power of Jesus overcomes the oppression of the devil.

II. When we come to Jesus, we meet and experience his love to restore us and make us whole again (5:14-17)

The love of Jesus overcomes the hatred of the devil

III. When we come to Jesus, we meet and experience his wisdom to direct us into a life of flourishing and fruitfulness (5:18-20)

The wisdom of Jesus overcomes the foolishness of the devil
