Grace Alone (Sola Gratia)

Introduction
The Five Solas: Scripture alone, Christ alone, grace alone, faith alone, and to the glory of God alone.
Fallen Condition Focus: We trust and rely on our own works to make ourselves right with God and to secure a place for ourselves in his kingdom
Sermon Proposition: Since God's grace makes alive spiritually dead people, we ought to trust in God's saving grace in Christ and not in our good works

I. God makes the spiritually dead alive in Christ (Eph. 2:1-5a)

II. God saves sinners by his grace, a free gift, so that they can rest in him (Eph. 2:5b-9)

III. God has prepared beforehand good works for his people to do (Eph. 2:10)
