Introduction
Fallen Condition Focus: we are prone to doubt and mistrust God's goodness and take matters into our own hands, even falling into temptation and disobedience to God's word and will.
Sermon Proposition: Since God's goodness prevails, even over spiritual and human evil, we ought to trust in his goodness at all times.

I. God's Good Plan …to reveal the glory of the sons of God (Romans 8:18-25)
We are to groan inwardly as we wait eagerly for adoption as sons

II. God's Good Purpose …to work all things for the good of his chosen ones (Romans 8:26-30)
We are to rely on the Spirit to help us to pray and to keep us in the love of God

III. God's Good Promise …that nothing shall separate us from His goodness (Romans 8:31-39)
We are to trust in His faithfulness to his promises
