God's Gracious Gathering (Audio Only, Please click the headphone icon below to listen)

Introduction
Fallen Condition Focus: Unfortunately, we get so caught up in living our busy lives in this temporal world that we don't prepare for the next life in eternity. We forget we are pilgrims on a journey of faith, and we get too comfortable in this world losing our love for our Lord Jesus.
Sermon Proposition: Since the Lord gathers his covenant people to their eternal home with him, we ought to prepare ourselves for that day

I. Since the Lord graciously gathers his covenant people to their eternal home, we ought to become and live as one of his covenant people (Gen. 12:1-9; 13:11-13; 19:1, 15, 16; 25:7-10; John 1:12; 2 Cor. 5:7; Hebrews 11:9-10)

II. Since the Lord graciously gathers his covenant people to their eternal home, we ought to live as if this world is not our home (Gen. 12:1-3; 13:11-13; 23:4, 17, 18; Rom. 12:2; Heb. 11:13-16; 12:14; James 4:4)

III. Since the Lord graciously gathers his covenant people to their eternal home, we ought to live as if heaven is our home (Gen. 23:4, 17, 18; 25:7-10; John 3:3, 5; Phil. 1:23-24)
