Fallen Condition Focus: We are by nature very attached to what we can see. We derive our sense of belonging and stability from our environment. We put our hope, comfort, security, and confidence in what we can see, hear, and touch.
Sermon Proposition: Since the Lord God has called us to leave this world and receive an eternal inheritance, let us leave behind our attachments to this world and journey by faith with the Lord to that eternal city of God, the New Jerusalem.
